Museums and attractions with free admission days

Many San Francisco museums and attractions have one free admission day a month. The list below is arranged by day. The information may be subject to change, but I'll post updates here as I get them.

Call beforehand to confirm arrangements. In most cases, free admission is limited to San Francisco residents with ID, so group programs need to confirm what the requirements will be. With some museums, arranging a docent tour is a good idea for a successful visit. That requires making arrangements with the museums – availability will vary.
